From experiencing a manic episode during his studies to returning to university after hospitalization-and even publishing a book while still in school-his story is relatable and inspiring!

Bio 

Jason Wegner is a passionate mental health speaker and advocate, as well as an alumnus of the University of Lethbridge. He is the author of the book Manic Man and serves as an English Teacher at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute (LCI). Living with Bipolar 1 Disorder, Jason draws on his challenging experiences and the obstacles he faced to help inspire audiences to unleash their own inner resilience. Battling through severe mania and depression to eventually experience post-traumatic growth, Jason's story is one of hope. He aims to destigmatize mental health struggles while helping individuals achieve balance in their lives without sacrificing performance in their careers or studies.
